Jarilla - Extremadura

Jarilla is situated in the north of the province of Caceres between the Valle del Ambroz and the dividing line of the river Jerte.

The Mediterranean and continental climate is complimented by water springs that come from the nearby mountains. There is lush vegetation and it is a great spot for bird watching.

Ruins from a small roman temple can be found nearby, known as Piedras Labradas (Carved Stone), located at 1.070 metres. Its name is a direct reference to the perfectly cut blocks of stone.

Festival days: January 26 th , May 9 th and September 14 th .
