El Valle del Jerte

The valley lies between two mountain ranges: Tormentos and Tras la Sierra.

It is a nature reserve and protected area, famous for its cherry trees. These trees are spectacular in Spring when they burst into blossom, and in the summer when they are heavy with cherries.
